Miss Cheyenne is the owner/director and classroom teacher at MCPKA. She lives in Howard County with her husband. She was a tenured teacher for HCPSS and has been teaching pre-kindergarten since 2014. Miss Cheyenne opened MCPKA in 2018 and has been enjoying working with this age group in a smaller school setting. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction with a concentration in English Speakers of Other Languages. She is a state licensed teacher with MSDE (Pre-K-3rd grade), licensed ESOL teacher (Pre-K-12th grade), certified in CPR and First Aid, and certified in Medication Administration. Collectively, she has been working with children since 2007. In her spare time, Miss Cheyenne enjoys gardening, hiking, traveling, and being with her family.

Miss Devon joined MCPKA as an assistant teacher in 2022. She currently lives in Anne Arundel County with her family and two pups. Prior to joining MCPKA, Miss Devon was a teacher at a local preschool in Anne Arundel County. She has been working with children since 2016. She has her 90-hour preschool certification and is continuing to work towards her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She is certified in CPR and First Aid, and certified in Medication Administration. Miss Devon is thrilled to be working with students in an individualized and meaningful way.

Miss Julie joined MCPKA as an assistant teacher in 2023. She currently lives in Howard County with her family. She formerly worked at another local preschool as an assistant teacher. She has her 90-hour preschool certification, certified in CPR and First Aid, and certified in Medication Administration. In her spare time, Miss Julie enjoys baking, art, listening to music, photography, traveling, and being with her family. She is very excited about being on the team at Miss Cheyenne’s Pre-K Academy and watching students engage in new experiences, learn, and form friendships.

Miss Charyl joined MCPKA as a substitute teacher in 2022. She currently lives in Howard County with her family. She has her 90-hour preschool certification. Prior to starting as a substitute teacher for MCPKA, Miss Charyl was a para-educator for many years in both general education and special education preschool and pre-k classrooms at HCPSS. Miss Charyl is excited to continue to work with this age group in a smaller setting.
