Enrollment Process

Thank you for your interest in Miss Cheyenne's Pre-K Academy. There are multiple steps in our enrollment process.

1) Complete the initial "Getting to Know Me" form - This form is used to get to know your family better and determine your interest in our school. Please make sure you click on the correct link. If you have any trouble with the link or completing the form, please contact Miss Cheyenne at misscheyenne@mcpka.com.

  • 2023-2024 Pre-Registration - Please fill out a pre-registration form. Please note that filling out a form does not guarantee enrollment.

2) Phone interview - After your form has been received and reviewed, Miss Cheyenne will contact you to schedule a phone interview.

​

3) Schedule a tour - During our phone interview, we will decide if we should move forward with an in-person tour. Your child must attend the tour with you as meeting your child is part of the enrollment process. Note: Tours are typically scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays after 5:00pm only. 

 

4) Payment - If your child has been accepted into our school, you will receive an enrollment packet. Please do not send payment or fill out forms unless you have received an invitation to enroll. The registration fee, enrollment deposits, and registration paperwork are due immediately. Until the these are received, your child's spot is not secured. You will need to pay the following:​​

  • 2023-2024 School Year

    • Non-refundable Registration fee:

      • New Students - $150

      • Returning Students - $100

  • Non-refundable Enrollment deposit:​

    • Monday, Wednesday, and Friday students - $850

    • Monday-Friday students - $1300

    • Students attending before and aftercare will have a non-refundable deposit due at the time of enrollment equal to one month's tuition.

I’m not sure there are words to even describe just how impressed and pleased we are with Miss Cheyenne’s Pre-K. Our 4 year old had some difficulties in other schools and after meeting with Miss Cheyenne and reviewing what we thought our daughter needed, she said she’s got it. Wow. Did she ever have it. Our daughter is flourishing, happy, highly socialized, does fantastic with transitions where she previously didn’t and learning so much. Nothing builds more confidence than having someone laugh at your jokes. Our seemingly shy son is actually a quirky comedian and he felt comfortable, too much so at times, sharing that with Miss Cheyenne. This school is also academically focused. We believe there's a time to play and a time to learn. The two often intertwine at Miss Cheyenne's but there is a baseline of children being academically sound. The literacy program is phenomenal! My son attended this school full time last year in person prior to the school closures due to COVID and virtually after the closure. He was also in her summer kinder readiness program. Cheyenne is an amazing teacher and provides a safe environment for students to learn. My son has improved significantly in the traditional transition to K ways (letter and number identification and sounds, blending, early reading, math, etc.). She's also been able to provide him the structure necessary to transition to public school while allowing him to be his silly self. He is sensitive, but has always felt safe with her. How she managed to maintain a productive classroom of 4-5 yr olds virtually with little to no parent involvement is beyond me. Cheyenne is magic. -Erickson Family

We feel SO fortunate to have found Miss Cheyenne’s pre-K program for our daughter! It has been quite a strange year but Miss Cheyenne hasn’t missed a beat. Between the frequent pictures, emails, and quarterly report cards, I feel so connected to what my child is learning and how she is progressing. Miss Cheyenne uses personalized, hands-on instruction with each student, and it shows. I feel a great sense of relief knowing that my daughter is being well-cared for during the day, while also being adequately prepared for kindergarten. A great teacher with an excellent penchant for preparing kids for kindergarten, providing transitional or alternative kindergarten. My 4 yo son thrives in Miss Cheyenne's school, I see a HUGE difference in his aptitude for writing/letter and number recognition and so much more! My daughter went to Miss Cheyenne’s Pre-K and graduated 2019-2020 school session. She always looked forward to going and was able to learn a lot for kindergarten! We also were able to have a school trip visiting the zoo. I looked forward to the parent teacher conference each quarter to see the progress she made during the school year in writing and other skills in prepping her for an easy transition to kindergarten.
